Esaote expands UK team with ultrasound clinical applications specialist

Esaote has appointed Sahra Deane as clinical applications specialist for London and the south-east.

Deane started her career as a diagnostic radiographer working in London and then went on to achieve a postgraduate diploma in medical ultrasound from King’s College London. She has gained many years’ experience working for the NHS and in the commercial world to have a well-rounded overview of ultrasound. She has a specialist interest in advanced ultrasound technologies such as contrast-enhanced ultrasound and vascular ultrasound. Deane is also passionate about ultrasound education and expanding the skills of ultrasound users through support and facilitating research and development.

Her interest in projecting forward ultrasound technology plays a large part in her career goals as well as highlighting the importance of up-to-date technology and guidelines.

In her spare time, Deane continues to work as a diagnostic sonographer in London in order to keep up her skills. She said: “I am very excited to join Esaote and be able to be a part of a forward-thinking, innovative company with excellent ultrasound systems. I am fortunate to have had a great career in ultrasound so far, and I want to bring my knowledge and skills to my customers to support them in the development of their services.”
