Everlight reflected on 20 years of partnership as it won major award

UKIO 2026 ran from June 8-10 with the theme of Putting Humanity at the Centre of Healthcare: in the Age of the Machine.
This year’s event, at Liverpool Experience Campus, carried extra significance for Everlight Radiology, which was not only marking 20 years of supporting the healthcare sector but also celebrated a major milestone during the conference by winning Diagnostics Provider of the Year at the HealthInvestor Awards.
On the exhibition floor, the team welcomed delegates with a dedicated charging station and a barista service, creating a hub for networking and discussion. Beyond hospitality, the focus remained on addressing critical conversations shaping modern diagnostics through two key panel sessions.
The first session explored the past, present and future of radiology. Panellists discussed the transition of teleradiology from a supplementary service to a core operational partner. Crucially, the debate highlighted the need for AI to move past novelty and integrate seamlessly into daily practice to achieve widespread clinical acceptance. The conversation also tackled data evolution and the ongoing workforce crisis.
Later, clinical director Robin Evans chaired a cross-industry panel where senior clinical leaders from across the teleradiology sector examined the current state of outsourced reporting in the UK, debating pivotal issues for practising radiologists and healthcare users.
