In just a few weeks we’ll be returning to Liverpool for the first in-person UKIO Congress since 2019. It’s not too late to book a ticket and we’re pleased to offer a 10% discount to readers of RAD Magazine – book at ukio.org.uk and enter the code RADMAY on the payment page.
UKIO 2022 will be bigger and better than ever. As the UK’s largest imaging and oncology event it’s the place to be for practice-based content and to meet like-minded professionals who just might help you change your service. We’ve picked out some of the highlights below.
Build a programme to suit your needs
The programme has been built by our expert working party who are at the coalface in their fields and so have put together content that you’ll be able to apply the very next day at work. With 100+ sessions you can build your own pathway through the programme to suit your learning needs and make every hour of the congress count. View the programme here.
Not just didactic
Sessions won’t just be traditional classroom style learning – make sure you sign up to our hands-on ultrasound workshops and interactive case review sessions. In addition, a new feature for this year is the Innovation in action hub in the exhibition, where our exhibitors will showcase their AI offering in a tangible way for you as the end user. You’ll be able to see different companies collaborate to demonstrate their solution in action within a workflow and answer real-life clinical questions. Demos will be followed up by an opportunity to ask questions.
The hub is supported by the NHS AI Lab at the NHS Transformation Directorate who will also be running talks throughout the programme.
An interactive exhibition
The exhibition will be bigger than ever – meet all the key suppliers in one place and be sure to attend the sessions they are running for even more educational content. More information about who you’ll meet in the exhibition can be found here.
Come for the CPD, stay for the fun!
UKIO isn’t just about CPD. As we return in person for the first time in a while, we’re placing an emphasis on networking. Amongst other activities during the congress, our diverse social programme offers the opportunity to meet with other delegates in more informal settings – from pizza-making and walking tours to a silent disco and a night at the iconic Cavern Club, we hope you’ll find something you enjoy. Add a ticket to your congress booking.
A healthy congress
Our wellness programme will allow you to take some time for yourself during a busy day of learning. Visit the wellness zone for massage, mindfulness and meditation, or even try some of our wellness activities on the programme – from sound baths and 5K runs, to drumming!
Free exhibition visitor tickets
We’re pleased to also offer free exhibition visitor tickets, which give you access to the exhibition and all education sessions held in the exhibition lecture theatres, demo zone, CDC room and Innovation in action hub, as well as the plenary programme and a few key unlocked sessions to give you a flavour of the congress. Book your ticket here.
We hope to see you in Liverpool.
