First patient benefits from Epsom’s new MRI

Clock House Alliance Imaging Centre unit manager Shena Jones presents flowers to Indra Seymour, the centre’s first patient to use its MRI scanner.

Epsom resident Indra Seymour was the first patient to benefit from the MRI scanner at new diagnostic centre Clock House Alliance Imaging Centre in Epsom.  Patients can now avoid a trip to Weybridge and, with nearly 11,000 patients currently on the waiting list for an MRI scan in the south east alone, this service could help those in the area get faster treatment.

Alliance Medical business development director David Loasby said: “We are delighted that the latest addition of the new MRI scanner, together with x-ray and ultrasound services, will bring modern imaging services to Epsom.”
