First probe disinfection unit get thumbs up at King’s Mill

Nanosonics Limited country manager Bryn Tudor-Owen with Toshiba Medical Systems ultrasound sales director Stuart Mills, clinical lead sonographer Ann Allen, superintendent sonographer Alyson Feely and imaging assistant Leanne Warren.

Following news that Toshiba Medical Systems has entered into partnership with Nanosonics to distribute the Trophon EPR ultrasound probe disinfection system, the first unit has been installed at King’s Mill Hospital, Sutton-in-Ashfield.

King’s Mill was selected as a major Toshiba site to evaluate the system, which included how it performed within a busy clinical environment without affecting workflow.  Toshiba UK ultrasound sales director Stuart Mills said: “We are delighted with the initial response received from our customers to the system.   Being able to offer this solution to treat probes with a high level disinfection process that is safe and offers traceability provides another option for customers.”
