Over the past two years, GE staff in the UK have raised £350,000 to provide lifelong support to wounded, injured or sick service personnel and veterans, with GE Healthcare employees raising around £70,000.
Their efforts helped build the GE Wellbeing Suite at the Help for Heroes Recovery Centre in Catterick, North Yorkshire.
GE UK president and ceo Mark Elborne said: “We are proud to have partnered with Help for Heroes, GE’s first national fund-raising partner. It is thanks to the commitment of the thousands of UK employees that we have been able to achieve our target.”
