Glan Clwyd achieves a wider case mix

Senior CT/MRI radiographer Andrea Emmanuel, radiographic assistant Paula Ryan and principal CT radiographer Nicola Dobson.
Glan Clwyd Hospital in Rhyl, part of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, has purchased two CT Exprès syringeless injectors from Bracco.
Principal CT radiographer Nicola Dobson said: “I have found the CT Exprès injector to be time efficient, clean and easy to use. The test injection feature is used for all our patients where previously we used a hand injection. We have experienced greater flexibility between case mix and patient size and have decreased routine contrast volumes by 25 per cent since the introduction of the CT Exprès.”
