Community-based NHS Any Qualified Provider 360 Care Ultrasound Service in Grimsby provides ultrasound imaging and reporting within the primary care setting throughout north-east Lincolnshire. It carries out an average of 650 examinations per month.
As a result of the service’s expansion, a mobile ultrasound system with printer was required for general ultrasound, including transvaginal, musculoskeletal ultrasound and vascular work, in order to provide a service at multiple satellite sites.
Esaote’s MyLab Alpha was chosen and lead sonographer Carol Melton said: “The system impressed us with its versatility and high imaging quality in a range of modalties. It is user friendly and the aftercare has been excellent. This has allowed us to cope with the many and varied demands and the scope of examinations required by primary care clinicians.”.
