Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust radiotherapy department has purchased and installed the Sun Nuclear PerFraction state-of-the-art patient plan QA system.

The system, supplied by Imaging Equipment Limited, is expected to save resources in the long term as well as improving safety.  It provides both phantomless pre-treatment QA and 3D in-vivo dosimetry by using a collapsed cone convolution superposition algorithm.  It can be used at every fraction with dashboard monitoring and automated escalation in the event of a failed fraction.
