As imaging volumes continue to rise, radiography teams need technology that not only delivers diagnostic confidence but also simplifies everyday workflows and reduces time spent on repetitive tasks, according to medical equipment supplier MIS Healthcare.

The Samsung GC85A Vision+ radiography room, which MIS Healthcare has provided to Harrogate Hospital, combines advanced automation, AI-powered workflow tools and intuitive usability to help radiographers work more efficiently. Features such as auto-positioning, auto-tracking, intelligent collimation and automated protocol assistance help reduce manual adjustments, minimise retakes and streamline examinations. It also offers streamlined dose management and AI-assisted positioning and workflow automation.

Harrogate Hospital team manager David Desborough explained: “Having two Samsung rooms has been a godsend in terms of workflow and general day-to-day radiography. The user interface is a favourite among our team as it is so intuitive and smooth. Post-processing and annotation of images is very slick, and now that we have the cumulative doses for each patient, post-processing on CRIS has been made a lot easier.”
