Hermes to showcase powerful software for molecular imaging

News
Hermia applications

Hermia, a state-of-the-art, vendor-neutral suite for molecular imaging from Hermes Medical Solutions, enables imaging professionals to streamline workflows and increase the consistency and quality of clinical image review and reporting, while keeping pace with the development of scanners, radiopharmaceuticals and imaging procedures in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging.

Hermia harnesses the power of AI and automation, combining it with the latest computing technology, to accelerate workflow and reporting for all clinical scenarios in PET/SPECT/CT/MRI, on site or remotely, regardless of camera vendor.

At this year’s BNMS meeting, Hermes is showcasing functionality in the areas of AI and automation, quantitative SUV-SPECT and organ and voxel-based dosimetry.

Highlights include Hermia’s ability to:

  • Automatically refine the alignment of a specific region across multiple timepoints while retaining quantitative accuracy with automatic local registration
  • Segment any tumour with high precision with just one click, and separate adjacent tumours into their most natural parts, using intelligent foci segmentation
  • Optimise bone SPECT/CT images using Hermia SUV SPECT quantitative reconstruction and its Bayesian AMAP-R option, improving the image qualitatively and quantitatively, reducing noise and increasing quantitative accuracy
  • Automatically define kidney ROIs with Hermia’s automated processing for renograms
  • Make personalised therapy a reality for clinical practice with voxel dosimetry, which supports single time point imaging, and is CE-marked and FDA and Health Canada cleared for a wide range of imaging isotopes.
