Horder Centre creates a more inviting scanning experience

News

Seated are Medical Imaging Partnership regional manager Gillian Philips, sales and marketing executive Mary Stoneham, and Horder Centre imaging manager Vanessa Brown.  Standing are Philips Healthcare account manager Tim Regan, Medical Imaging Partnership operations director Jenny Hill and Philips MRI applications specialist Emma Taylor.

Medical Imaging Partnership has acquired a Philips 1.5T MRI scanner for the Horder Centre in Crowborough.

Medical Imaging Partnership sales and marketing executive Mary Stoneham says: “We have been able to change from a mobile to a fixed scanner.  It is recognised for its high quality imaging, and will help patients who suffer from claustrophobia in confined spaces.  It will also enable us to expand our service.

“One of the added benefits is the introduction of LED lighting, which changes colour to create different moods.  With the addition of virtual sky lighting, we can create a more inviting and pleasurable environment for our patients, improving their overall scanning experience.”
