Imaging aids research programme transform clinical pathways

TOHETI is undertaking innovative research to discover how imaging technology can be used more effectively.

The Transforming Outcomes and Health Economics Through Imaging (TOHETI) programme is looking to change the way medical imaging works by undertaking a range of pioneering research.  The work will take place across King’s Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre, a collaboration between King’s College London, and Guy’s and St Thomas’,  King’s College Hospital, and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trusts.

Research will look to challenge current practice in common clinical pathways and, using Siemens Healthineers technology, demonstrate how imaging can be used more effectively.  The  Somatom Force CT system will aid the research, in addition to two further CT and two 3.0T MRI scanners from Siemens Healthineers which are set to go live later this year.
