Imaging reaches a new level at Arrowe Park

Radiographers Hannah Benson and Emma Reaney, Wolverson engineer Frank Cousins, radiographer Janet Quirk, Wolverson engineer Graham Haslam, superintendent radiographer Barry Jones, care support worker Shirley Eisenberg and radiographers Amy Howard and Sian Gilford.

Arrowe Park Hospital, Wirral, has taken delivery of two digital x-ray room installations from Wolverson X-ray Limited.  They were installed as part of an ongoing digital upgrade at the hospital, which previously used CR systems for much of its general radiography procedures.

Arrowe Park already has four Wolverson x-ray rooms, two in A&E and two in the orthopaedic department.  Superintendent radiographer Barry Jones said, “This department has had a very satisfactory working relationship with Wolverson over many years, during which time we have benefitted from a combination of reliable and well-engineered Arcoma x-ray equipment and excellent service.  These superb new x-ray rooms, with digital detectors and software by Carestream, have taken the quality and speed of radiographic imaging to a new level.”
