Injector uses less contrast

Bracco UK capital equipment specialist Linda Mulholland, CT superintendent Tracey Capper and CT radiographers Teresa Blake and Gemma Walker.
The installation of Bracco’s CT Exprès syringeless contrast injector at Doncaster Royal Infirmary has resulted in a reduction in the use of contrast. Among the benefits, says Bracco, is a faster turnaround time at the end of a procedure, allowing an increase in patient throughput. Less contrast is used as a saline chase can be given with every injection.
“CT Exprès allows staff to use best practice with no added cost or extra time taken,” says Bracco. “They also find the unit easier to keep clean than previous injectors and say it is easy to use, with rotating staff adapting to it in no time.”
