Altnagelvin Area Hospital in Londonderry, Derry, Ireland, has installed a new generation of interventional x-ray systems from Philips Healthcare. The AlluraClarity family with ClarityIQ technology is said to introduce a comprehensive set of improvements that virtually ends the trade-off between x-ray dose and image quality.
Clinical specialist radiographer Paul Smyth said: “Philips is to be congratulated on a well-executed project. Our interventional room has now been transformed into a workplace which benefits patients and staff alike due to the pleasant ambiance and decor. From pre-sales presentations and site visit, through to equipment installation, training and after-sales care, the Philips Healthcare team has shown a high degree of professionalism.”
