Jessop’s Aplios reduce scanning times

The Jessop Wing at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has purchased four Toshiba Aplio MX ultrasound systems for the main obstetrics department.

Superintendent sonographer Liz Bullivant said: “The systems are a fantastic asset to our busy department.  Their high quality imaging and ergonomic design have helped us tailor our Down’s syndrome ultrasound screening service by reducing scanning time and they have contributed to a reduction in the risk of developing musculoskeletal symptoms when performing the examination.”
