Leamington Spa Hospital’s x-ray room makes best use of limited space

Leamington Spa Hospital x-ray

South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust has purchased an Agfa Radiology Solutions Valory Floor x-ray room for its Leamington Spa Hospital. The room has been installed in the Central England Rehabilitation Unit (CERU), which offers neurological rehabilitation to adults following brain injuries.

The Valory Floor x-ray room was chosen for its compact size and high image quality. Agfa configured the layout based on the limited space available, incorporating a wheeled, powered trolley for imaging patients with different levels of mobility.

“We chose to work with Agfa not only for its proven track record in delivering high quality, cost-effective x-ray equipment, but also for its ability to design a bespoke room configuration,” said plain film clinical lead and MSK reporting radiographer James Oughton.

Agfa Radiology Solutions sales leader Europe north Joshua Akin-George added: “The limited space available posed a particular challenge for the hospital. Thanks to the flexibility of the modular Valory design, our team was able to configure a layout that maximises the space.”
