Linford gets scanner off to a flying start

Alliance Medical finance director UK and northern Europe Howard Marsh, Linford Christie and Alliance Medical unit manager Gillian Rollo.
Olympic 100 metre sprint champion Linford Christie helped launch a new scanner at Alliance Medical Guildford Diagnostic Imaging Centre. Guildford residents will have seven day a week access to a Siemens 3.0T Magnetom Skyra MRI, which is expected to significantly improve diagnostic imaging services at the centre based at the Royal Surrey County Hospital.
Christie said: “As an athlete I know first-hand the important role diagnostics plays in delivering accurate and speedy diagnoses. It can often be a daunting experience, but it is great to see that with the launch of this new scanner, Guildford residents have a facility they can truly be proud of.”
