Liver imaging forum presents challenging cases

Contributing to the meeting were Dr Delia Peppercorn, Dr Carolina Lopez, Dr Tony Blakeborough, Professor Christoph Zech, Dr Balashanmugam Rajashanker, Dr Ashley Guthrie, Bayer’s Steve Broadhurst and Giselle Gibson, Dr Simon Olliff, Dr Dilip Patel, Bayer’s Jamie Murray and Robert Sutcliffe.

Bayer’s radiology and interventional division ran the 3rd UK Liver Forum meeting at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Education Centre, Birmingham in March. The meeting attracted more than 100 delegates from across the UK.

Dr Simon Olliff chaired the meeting that featured presentations on liver imaging, ranging from optimising acquisition strategies for liver imaging, diagnosis and management of focal liver lesions from a surgical perspective, to referral strategies and imaging of patients with colorectal liver metastases.

It also included a challenging range of case presentations for delegates.  Spakers and case presenters included Professor Christoph Zech from University of Munich Hospitals.
