Matthews finds dream veterinary job back in England after working in Hong Kong and South Africa

Somerset animal hospital Cave Veterinary Specialists has appointed diagnostic imager Lynn Matthews to its growing team. Matthews, who is currently studying for her second certificate in diagnostic imaging, joins the Linnaeus-owned practice after developing her skills over nearly 10 years working in Hong Kong and South Africa.

Matthews plans to expand the imaging offered at Cave by incorporating the latest advances in the field, collaborating with other imaging centres and working with the new MRI machine, which is due to arrive at the practice in May.

She graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2003, before roles at Wood Green Animal Shelter, fellow Linnaeus practice Davies Veterinary Specialists and Vets Now, where she worked as an emergency vet based at the PDSA.
