Throughout UKIO 2026, Medispace says a clear message emerged: expanding diagnostic capacity remains a priority, but it must be achieved through solutions that are both flexible and practical. The company said discussions focused on how services can improve access while strengthening resilience amid ongoing workforce and infrastructure pressures.

For Medispace, this reflects its work across the UK and Europe, providing mobile, modular and hybrid MRI and CT solutions designed to meet a wide range of clinical demands with maximum flexibility. The aim is to help healthcare providers increase diagnostic capacity where it is needed most, without compromising quality or continuity of care.

The company stated: “Much of the discussion at UKIO 2026 centred on practical application rather than theory, from refurbishment programmes and reduced waiting lists to expanded community access. In each case, mobile and modular imaging plays a vital role by integrating quickly into existing pathways while delivering scalable capacity.

“A growing focus is remote scanning support. By enabling experienced radiographers to support mobile and modular units through secure, connected workflows, services can improve throughput and maintain consistency even under staffing pressure. Rather than replacing teams, this model strengthens
them, adding resilience where it is most needed.”
