Middlesex history trust uses funds to support WRETF

Trustees of the Middlesex Schools of Radiography History Trust Adrienne Finch, John Twydle and Mary Embleton with WRETF trustees Alan Budge and Sue Marchant.
Trustees of the Middlesex Hospital Schools of Radiography History Trust have decided to pool their remaining funds into the World Radiography Educational Trust Foundation Bursary Scheme. This will support the provision of additional, educational travel bursaries for radiography disciplines of up to £500 each.
The resources of the history trust have been raised by sales of the Radiating Knowledge book, a history of the schools at The Middlesex, and by donations made in memory of the schools’ internationally renowned and respected former principal Marion Frank.
Chairman of the history trust Adrienne Finch said: “Marion was renowned for her generous support of the education of radiographers around the world, often contributing personal funding to ensure they could supplement the modest budgets that were available. We could think of no better place to deposit these remaining funds than the WRETF’s bursary scheme, which does just that.”
