Midland Regional finds CT scanner easy to use

Philips Healthcare account manager David Murphy, radiology services manager Brian Cosgrave, Philips sales and marketing co-ordinator Rebecca Duffy, hospital manager Orlagh Claffey,  section officer radiology Pauline Keeshan, CT clinical specialist Eleanor Russell, consultant radiologist Dr David Carruthers and Dublin Mid Leinster Hospital chief operations officer Paul McSweeney.

Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore, Ireland has installed a Philips Healthcare Ingenuity Elite 128-slice CT scanner.  Radiology service manager Brian Cosgrave said: “We have found the new Philips scanner to be well-designed and easy to use.   Patient scanning and post-image processing is very logical.  Performing routine tests such as quality assurance is fast and easy, and the results are automated and recorded on the system.”

The Ingenuity Elite CT offers versatility for dedicated vital organ imaging as well as whole body imaging.  It is said to have the capability to perform in the most demanding and critical environments, enabling consistent results.
