Mobile trailer equipped with MRI boosts service

Barlborough Treatment Centre imaging lead Paul Jepson, Care UK diagnostics lead Simon Harvey, chair of Bolsover District Council Councillor Ken Walker and GE Healthcare UK&I commercial imaging leader Tim Jones.

Independent provider of health and social care Care UK will deliver MRI imaging to its services throughout the country following installation of a Signa Explorer MRI into a Smit mobile trailer by GE Healthcare.

“We are extremely proud to take ownership of an advanced Signa Explorer MRI scanner,” said Care UK diagnostics lead Simon Harvey. “This addition to Care UK’s diagnostic services will help provide tangible benefits to our patients, referrers and commissioners in the delivery of timely, accessible, high quality mobile MRI services across the country.”
