Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has gone mobile with the addition of two X30 mobile units from Konica Minolta’s Aero DR equipment range to its radiography suites.
Utilising the trust’s wi-fi network the mobiles enable worklist retrieval and the sending of images while on the wards of the hospital.
Acting A&E superintendent radiographer Sue Delaney said: “Our Konica mobiles and rooms have improved our image quality with lower doses and greater efficiency. They have helped to reduce our reject analysis rates. This has made the overall process more efficient and the system has enabled staff to deliver a high quality service to our patients.”
