Monklands upgrades gynaecology service with new ultrasound system

Monklands District General Hospital in Airdrie, Scotland, has upgraded its gynaecology department through the acquisition of the latest Hitachi Arietta V60 ultrasound system.
Specialist nurse Maureen Meechan said: “Having used Aloka scanners over the last few years, we were very keen to add another Aloka system to our department. The Arietta V60 provides the user-friendly console and high quality image resolution that we have become used to.” Consultant gynaecologist Dr Ranitha Kumar added: “A lovely machine. We will enjoy using it!”
