AXREM Future Leaders Council wins silver at association awards

AXREM Future Leaders

The AXREM Future Leaders Council (AFLC) won the silver award for best membership engagement at the Association Excellence Awards 2025, held at the QEII Centre in Westminster, London.

The AXREM team, joined by member representatives, attended the ceremony as finalists in five categories. The award acknowledges the AFLC’s approach to fostering collaboration, inclusivity and professional development across the trade association’s membership.

Feedback from the judges included: “This submission appeals to my interest in harnessing the capabilities and thoughts of more junior colleagues. It’s a great example of engaging future leaders to provide input, create engagement and foster long-term loyalty in the association.”

In addition, the association has won two accolades in the 2025 CEO Monthly awards: Best MedTech Trade Association (UK), and Most Influential CEO in Industry Leadership (UK), which went to AXREM’s Sally Edgington. These recognitions celebrate AXREM’s sector-wide impact and Edgington’s leadership. CEO Monthly’s research panel commended AXREM for its commitment to innovation, standards and collaboration across diagnostic imaging, radiotherapy and healthcare IT. Edgington’s leadership was highlighted as a driving force behind the association’s transformation into a dynamic, inclusive and future-focused organisation.
