AXREM member runs 74km Mount Fuji challenge for charity

Jack Bond

EIZO business development manager Jack Bond has completed the Mount Fuji Virtual Challenge, a 74km journey inspired by Japan’s iconic peak, in support of Action for Children.

Bond ran the total distance in a week, as part of AXREM’s Million Steps Challenge, a national initiative promoting physical activity and wellbeing. EIZO is a member of AXREM, and Action for Children is AXREM’s charity of the year, providing practical and emotional support for children and young people.

“Mount Fuji felt like the perfect fit,” said Bond. “It connects beautifully with EIZO’s Japanese heritage and adds a meaningful layer to the challenge.” Participants in the virtual challenge use a mobile app to map their progress and receive digital postcards along the route, adding a touch of immersive adventure.

AXREM CEO Sally Edgington shared her support: “Jack’s initiative is a brilliant example of how our members bring purpose and passion to everything they do. By combining personal wellness, corporate heritage and charitable impact, Jack is helping us shine a light on the vital work of Action for Children.”
