Dr Cantin takes up the role of BMUS president
The British Medical Ultrasound Society has welcomed new 2025-26 president Dr Peter Cantin from University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust.
Dr Cantin is a long-standing BMUS member and has acted as a member of the BMUS council, honorary secretary and honorary treasurer before more recently taking on the role of president-elect and chairing the education committee.
He has led numerous BMUS study days over the years, particularly in the general medical and gynaecology fields, and was also the 2017 scientific organising committee chair for the annual scientific meeting held in Cheltenham.
The society says: “We look forward to embracing Dr Cantin’s vision for BMUS for the next two years and wish him every success as president.”
