Strategic board to steer Medica into the future
Medica has launched its strategic advisory board, chaired by Professor Sir Norman Williams, former president of the Royal College of Surgeons and senior clinical adviser to the Secretary of State for Health. It brings together prominent names from NHS leadership, radiology and AI governance, including Professor Ian Abbs, Professor Susan Shelmerdine, Dr Amrita Kumar and Professor David Lowe. The board will help steer Medica as diagnostic services face mounting pressure from rising demand, workforce shortages and the rapid adoption of AI in clinical settings.
