MR anatomy for radiotherapy course resonates well

Some of the delegates convene after an MR-guided tour of the brain.
Delegates at the University of Liverpool’s MR Anatomy for Radiotherapy CPD study day took part in dynamic facilitation and in-depth learning at the start of the first MR anatomy course designed specifically for radiotherapy professionals.
Fun prize quizzes, a relaxed format and plenty of opportunity for networking and sharing of practice were features of the event. Claire York from Northampton General Hospital said: “I had a fabulous time and felt that it was very worthwhile; we particularly enjoyed the animated and amusing styles of delivery.” Delegates also enjoyed a buffet lunch, mince pies and gallons of coffee courtesy of Imaging Equipment Limited which also provided the course team with a wide range of clinical MR images from its MRidian MR delivery systems. Delegates were able to see examples of current clinical use of MR for real-time image-guided radiotherapy and engage in discussion about the emerging role of MR in radiotherapy.
