Future Medical MRI deinstallation

Radiology equipment company Future Medical Equipment has removed a GE Optima 1.5T 16 channel MRI system from BMI The Somerfield Hospital in Kent.

The hospital, which closed last year, had numerous redundant items and Future Medical Equipment was appointed to de-install and remove the MRI scanner.

Business lead Dani Langson is Future Medical’s regional used imaging equipment specialist and said: “We work across the country with many hospitals de-installing and procuring various makes and models of diagnostic imaging equipment, so the team and I were delighted to work with BMI on the removal of the MRI.

“We will continue to offer ongoing support for future radiology procurement projects and I know BMI Healthcare was pleased with the removal of the scanner and associated equipment, and how we turned it around in such a quick time.”
