New distributor for Esaote in Ireland

As part of its ongoing growth plans Esaote has appointed a new distributor for its ultrasound and MRI products throughout Ireland.

Scientific, Medical, Clinical Limited (known as SMC) has many years of experience supplying and supporting customers throughout Ireland.  It will be responsible for the sales, service and support of Esaote’s range of ultrasound and MRI products within the healthcare sector.

Esaote’s country manager for the UK and Ireland Stephen Kennedy said: “Demand for our products within the Irish healthcare market has increased significantly over the last couple of years so the appointment of SMC to support and expand our growing ultrasound and MRI business is a perfect fit.  The company has extensive experience and knowledge in the public and private healthcare sectors and has ambitious growth aspirations in line with ours.

“Within the first few weeks of us working together it has already installed a number of newly-sold ultrasound scanners and it expects to install the first MRI scanners in the coming months.”
