Toshiba clinical applications support specialist Filia Aristidou at Whittington Hospital with ultrasound superintendent Irena Valchera and principal sonographer Jigna Patel.

Whittington Hospital, London, has purchased a Toshiba Medical Systems Aplio 400 ultrasound scanner for its obstetric work, primarily for dating and nuchal translucency scans.

Ultrasound superintendent Irena Valchera said: “We were impressed with the quality of the image and some new functions which were not available on our older systems.  In particular the post-processing function is very useful for nuchal translucency screening.”
