Norfolk and Norwich expects greater efficiency

Sealing the deal on a 10-year PACS contract with Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are Fujifilm’s general manager Mark van Rossum, and Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital chief executive Anna Dugdale.

 

Fujifilm has announced that it has signed a 10-year PACS contract with Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, worth £3.3 million.

 

After an extensive tender process Fujifilm were chosen as the preferred partner.  Commenting on the contract Anna Dugdale, chief executive of Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, said: “We were looking for a strategic partner that offered the vision and capability to help improve our service and efficiency offering.

 

“The Fujifilm solution will go live in January 2012 and by 2013 we expect to achieve 30% overall efficiency gains within radiology.”
