Alliance Medical has continued to invest in its static MRI business with the upgrade of an MRI scanner at Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital Alliance MRI and CT centre.  The state-of-the-art equipment represents a £500,000 investment to significantly improve the hospital’s diagnostic capabilities.

Having used a previous-generation Magnetom Symphony 1.5T scanner from Siemens Healthcare, Alliance Medical and Nuffield Health selected an upgraded system to enhance their current provision and extend the range of examinations on offer.  The system provides increased patient comfort and compliance with comfortable positioning cushions and aids included with the upgrade.

Alliance Medical chief financial officer Howard March said: “We are delighted to be working with Nuffield Health Brighton to enhance the calibre of its MRI services.  This new technology will provide high quality images faster, enabling more accurate diagnoses with reduced turnaround times.”
