During that time it has been involved in the British Thoracic Society teaching course, pleural research Study days and Dr Wrightson contributed to the ERS (European Respiratory Society) ultrasound training programme. He was dedicated to teaching and held the post of head of school of medicine, respiratory medicine training programme director, Thames Valley Deanery, NHS England south-east (workforce, training and education). Dr Wrightson also had 141 published research works and was admired and respected by everyone he met and worked with, Professor Rahman said. “It feels fitting that these systems should be delivered on what would have been John’s birthday.
