Poole Hosptal acquires second wide bore CT scanner

Poole Hospital has purchased a second Brilliance Big Bore CT for its radiography department from Philips UKI.  It comes with Philips’ latest software packages including 4D respiratory imaging and O-MAR metal artefact reduction.

A turnkey solution, the project included lighting and a sky panel, as well as an integrated and ceiling-mounted automatic contrast injector.  Senior planning radiographer Rebecca Morgan said: “We now have a well-designed, spacious environment, which vastly improves the patient and staff experience, with great workflow and clear areas due to plenty of storage space.”
