Portlaoise hospital’s DR makes life easier

A direct digital radiography system incorporating the latest wireless detector technology has been installed in Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise, Co Laois, Ireland, by Xograph Healthcare.
The contract included turnkey room refurbishment and enabling works followed by the installation of a Triathlon T2 motorised auto-positioning DR system. It also included the supply and installation of an Xograph Intuition general radiography system.
Radiology services manager Anne Marie Brody said: “This system is exactly what we needed. Lightweight and easy to handle, it makes our lives so much easier. Xograph could not have done any more for us the room was delivered and installed very efficiently and we would happily use them again in the future.”
