Private clinic chooses compact ultrasound system

ScanLinc in Lincoln has acquired a Canon Medical Systems Xario 200 Platinum Edition ultrasound machine. The private clinic offers early pregnancy and a gender opinion services. Early scans are offered before the routine 12-week NHS scan in order to provide reassurance scans for women who may have concerns in the early stages of their pregnancies.
The Xario 200 Platinum Edition is said to be easy to use and comes with a small footprint. Midwife sonographer Samantha Northway, who was already familiar with Canon Medical System’s ultrasound equipment, said: “There was never a hesitation in choosing the Xario 200 for my new business; there is no comparison.
