Manchester Royal Infirmary’s radiology department has chosen a Hitachi Ascendus ultrasound platform complement its two existing Hitachi Preirus machines, ensuring probe cross-compatibility and continuity. With dynamic contrast harmonic Imaging, wide view options and a broad range of transducers, the system is expected to deliver extensive functionality for all radiological and MSK ultrasound applications in this demanding environment.
According to Hitachi, ultrasound department felt that choosing the Ascendus was an easy decision because the department has had a number of Hitachi ultrasound systems that have provided excellent image quality, reliability and transducer compatibility with other Hi Vision systems.
