Probo Medical completes complex cath lab removal including data destruction certification

Probo Medical has completed another complex diagnostic imaging deinstallation project, removing a Siemens Healthiners Artis cath lab system from a hospital facility. The process began with Probo Medical’s certified engineers powering down the system and disconnecting electrical, network and radiation components. Following OEM protocols, the team then dismantled the ceiling-mounted C-arm, patient table and flat detector using mechanical lifts.
Led by the company’s technical operations team, the full cath lab including machine room cabinets and control room computers was removed in two and a half days, which included comprehensive management of transportation, rigging, storage and logistics. As part of the project, full certification of patient data destruction was provided, ensuring compliance with data protection standards.
Probo Medical highlighted that the cooperation from on-site staff helped ensure the project was completed smoothly and with minimal disruption.
