Probo Medical launches nuclear medicine service support in the UK

News
Probo Medical nuclear medicine service

Probo Medical has expanded its service portfolio with the introduction of nuclear medicine service and support for NHS and private practices across the UK.

The company’s nuclear medicine service and maintenance covers Siemens Healthineers, Philips Healthcare and GE HealthCare systems, supporting newer systems as well as those that have been declared as end of service. By providing an alternative to OEM contracts, Probo Medical can extend the life and performance of nuclear imaging equipment, particularly where OEM support may be limited or withdrawn.

This expansion is led by Eamon Chaney, an OEM-trained nuclear medicine engineer with over 20 years’ experience across all major suppliers. Having moved from the Probo Medical offices in the US to the UK, Chaney works with the field engineering team to provide nuclear medicine service coverage across most regions of the UK for various systems.

To ensure flexibility, Probo Medical offers service and maintenance contracts, supported by access to a wide inventory of OEM parts, allowing for fast repairs and the possibility to extend the life of equipment.
