Prostate Cancer UK calls on radiologists and radiographers to join Clinical Champions

Prostate Cancer UK is calling for passionate and experienced radiologists and radiographers to join its Clinical Champions programme to help transform prostate cancer care across the UK.

The 18-month programme is dedicated to improving care for men living with or at risk of prostate cancer. It aims to bring together future leaders in the field and give them the skills and support they need to effectively influence care improvement, navigate the complexity of the NHS and deliver a project to improve prostate cancer care at a local or national level.

Run in partnership with leadership development organisation Living Potential, the Clinical Champions programme will include formal leadership training, individual coaching and ongoing peer support and learning. Applications close on January 6, 2021.

Prostate Cancer UK head of improving care Amy Rylance said: “We know radiologists and radiographers play a crucial role in the prostate cancer pathway, which is why I’d encourage anyone with a passion to improve prostate cancer services in their area to apply.”
