QEHB adds immobilisation device

Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) has taken delivery of a Civco BPL One immobilisation system from UK distributor Imaging Equipment Limited (IEL).

Technical lead practitioner for radiotherapy Claire Bode said: “The BPL One was purchased for the radiotherapy department by QEHB charities.  It has been successfully implemented into Birmingham’s liver and adrenal stereotactic ablative radiotherapy CTE programme, benefiting nearly 30 patients to date.”
