Radiographers take up triathlon challenge

Four radiographers from the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton are taking part in a charity challenge to raise at least £2,000 for REGAIN, a charity for people who have become severely disabled due to sporting accidents.

Claire Farrell, Kirsty Knight, Sophie English and Laura Fogarty have named their team the Xtreme rays.  They will be take part in a triathlon style event at the beginning of July and hope that the readers of RAD Magazine will offer their support.

The challenge involves a gruelling 40 mile cycle ride, climbing Mount Snowdon and canoeing across Lake Llyn Gwynant and the girls are hoping to beat the record time for their category.
