Radiology equipment removal company sees business ramping up
New business Future Medical Equipment reports that it has had a busy few months with the removal of a Siemens Healthineers Magnetom Area MRI scanner and a six and a half tonne Magnetom Skyra MRI scanner in July.
Both MRIs were removed from Europe, brought to the Future Medical headquarters to be filled with helium, carefully packed and then shipped to the USA. The scanners were sourced for clients who specifically needed this type of scanner in their facilities.
Future Medical was established this year with backing from long-term experts in the business Elite Medical. It purchases unwanted imaging equipment specialising in CT and MRI, but also de-installing, transporting and disposing of smaller equipment such as ultrasound, mammography systems, x-rays and C-arms.
