Replacement dental system is up and running within days
Radiographers Laura Chambers and Jennifer Walsh demonstrate Wansbeck General Hospital’s replacement dental unit.
Wansbeck General Hospital has replaced its dental unit with a Planmeca ProOne Digital Panoramic, that was planned and installed in only two days.
Working with Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s clinical team, estates department and radiation protection advisor, Xograph Healthcare designed the room, delivered the equipment and installed the unit, as well as providing clinical applications training to assist with the go-live day.
Lead radiographer Pamela Kitto said: “Our existing system broke down so we contacted Xograph Healthcare and within days they had prepared a plan and a schedule of works. My staff have been trained and all commented on how easy the system is to use.”
