Rothband rises to the challenge of providing PPE products
Rothband has introduced protection products that include splash visors, reception screens, waterproof gowns and a comprehensive portfolio of PPE solutions for a range of healthcare needs.
Senior machinist Wendy Dewhurst said: “Rothband is very proud to be able to support the radiographers, radiologists and assistant practitioners on the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic. While there have been some real challenges, both from a regulatory and supply chain viewpoint, we will continue to keep working hard to get high quality, effective equipment to those who need it as part of their patient care provision.”
Managing director Paul Dixon added: “We have been making and supplying protection since 1860 but it goes without saying that COVID-19 has changed everything when it comes to protecting radiographers and radiologists in their work. In response to this urgent crisis, Rothband is working with the procurement teams of NHS trusts and other healthcare providers to develop new products that offer enhanced levels of protection.”
